Soon you will have a reason to take a walk around the parking lot of the Red Bluff Library. We will soon have a StoryWalk on display.  StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time.

Laminated pages from book are attached to metal stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story. The metal stakes are true works of craftmanship and art. Local metal worker Mike Shaffer is to thank for them. He also constructed and designed other metal work in the outside area of the library. We hope to have the StoryWalks available this fall at the Red Bluff library.

StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, of Kellogg-Hubbard Library
