State Park Pass

The Tehama County Library in partnership with the First Partner’s Office, the California State Library, and State Parks is pleased to be providing free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state parks. The State Library Parks Pass is valid for entry of one passenger vehicle with a capacity of nine people or less or one highway licensed motorcycle.

Tehama County library card holders can check out the State Library Parks Pass at any of our 3 locations. If you don’t have a library card, visit us to get one.

The State Library Parks Pass works just like checking out a book. You get it for three weeks. We do ask that when you return it you bring it up to the front counter instead of using our book drops.

The State Library Parks Pass will not be honored at state parks operated by the federal or local government or private agencies. The pass is also not valid for per-person entry or tour fees (museums), boat use, camping, group use, special events, additional/extra vehicle fees, sanitation disposal use, or for supplemental fees.
