Join the Tehama County Library for our 3rd annual Backpack Distribution and Resource Fair!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at 9am – 1 pm.
Backpacks and school supplies will be available for students going into TK-12th grade. The student must be present at the event to receive a backpack and supplies.
All youth ages 0-18 years will receive a free meal and a free book to build their home libraries, courtesy of the California State Library’s Lunch at the Library grant.
Even if you don’t need school supplies or a backpack, families are invited to come join the fun — we’ll have arts and crafts for kids and teens, a face painter, touch-a-truck, and more!
