You must show your library card every time you borrow materials. Learn how to get a library card here.
Most library materials circulate (are checked out) for three (3) weeks. Items cataloged as Reference do not circulate at all and may be used in the Library only.
Library patrons may have up to 40 borrowed items checked out at any given time. This is for all areas of the collection excluding DVD’s, chromebooks, hotspots and story hour boxes. DVD’s you can checkout 10 at a time and story hour boxes, chromebooks and hotspots you check out 1 at a time.
Renewing Library Materials
All materials may be renewed once (in person, by phone, or online) if there are no pending requests your materials will be automatically renewed once. To renew materials online, view the Online Account instructions or go directly to My Account. You will need a unique 4-digit pin number which can be acquired when you sign up for your library card, or you may request us to add it to your account at any time (in person w/ID proof).
Returning Library Materials
Returning Library Materials Books/DVD’s may be returned inside during open hours or dropped in the outside bookdrop during closed hours. Chromebooks, hotspots and story hour boxes must be returned to the front desk. Items are due back on or before the due date. If you damage or lose library materials, you will be charged current replacement costs. If you have overdue, lost or damaged items you will not be allowed to check out additional materials or access our Public Computers until your account is cleared of all charges.
Replacement Library Cards: $1.00
Returned Check Fee: $10.00
Lost/ Damaged Materials: Current replacement cost + fines
Minimum Replacement Cost: $20.00
Copy/Printing Costs: 10 ¢ *Library cards will expire every 3 years.
